Its too bad that Jimbos efforts are just groupthink experiments
and wonderful proofs of the problems. Jimbo failed to define real neutrality or truth value and set up a system where the most diligent
pov warriors become the “Arbiters”. From the point of view of expert
knowledge, Wikipedia and Wikibooks are both pathetic failures,
rife with misinformation, and ruled by the very pov warriors that the rules were supposed to prevent. Jimbos a repugnicon who thinks
Ann Coulter is kewl, so dumbed down media is something he likes.
Anybody who has expert knowledge on a subject knows tossing it into wikipedia is like tossing pearls to swine. Getting tossed off of wikipedia for trying to help them with their problem wakes one up
to the reality that he and wikipedia is a failure which can’t be fixed.
Its starting axioms are not only wrong, they are evil. Neutrality is not just quoting people, and truth value is not just quoting people. By failing to use formal logic, jimbo set up the perfect long winded propaganda machine.

To play the devil’s advocate, aren’t there forums linked to controversial wikipedia articles in which people can discuss the neutrality/bias of articles? These forums seem to be a vehicle for the conversational logic you are talking about. of course, not all of the participants are “rational,” whatever that means, or at the very least they sometimes use different terminology and frameworks that make compromise or agreements nearly impossible; if participants differ in their standards/ends, the argument/discussion about the means is going to be difficult to navigate.
